Your Role

Combining both support and sales skillsets, you'll support current customers through email as well as advise potential customers about our product over the phone. This role blends expertise in the SAT/ACT and college admissions with a passion for helping individual customers succeed.


Your Responsibilities

  • Support current customers by email. Based on their situation and attributes, help them decide how to spend their time and energy to achieve the best educational outcome. Help them fix technical issues they may be having with our product.

  • Provide high-quality guidance to potential customers over the phone. Assess their situation and give them real, immediately implementable help over the phone. Provide information about our product and company to potential customers who want to know more. Help with logistics like payment processing issues.

  • You'll have an equal distribution of responsibility supporting existing customers and assisting potential customers.

Skills & Requirements

  • BA/BS from a highly selective institution.

  • 90%-ile+ score on the SAT or ACT preferred. Knowledge of test prep methods and previous experience tutoring is helpful.

  • Organization in work and ability to work independently.

  • A passion for helping individual students and families succeed.

About this Position

  • The position is full-time and salaried (W2).

  • You'll have a great level of independence to direct your own work.

  • Salary is competitive and depends on skill and expertise. There is further opportunity for commissions.

  • Work is on-site in our Cambridge, MA office.

  • Work load will be approximately 35-45 hours per week depending on the test season.
