Do SAT scores expire?

Do you need to have SAT scores from the same year that you apply to college? Or are the scores good for longer? Say, for example, I took the SAT junior fall and was satisfied with my score. Could I submit that score to colleges even though I didn't earn it within the application year?

Sample writing for SAT

Hi here's my sample writing for SAT: One great barrier to Harlem's development In the nineteenth century had been its distance from Lower Manhattan. Between 1878 and 1881, however, three lines of the elevated railroad reached 129th Street; by 1886 they had even further north. From this point on Harl...

I took the ACT twice, the first in September and the second in October. My composite score was a 33 on the 1st and a 32 on the second. However, what I'm most worried about and debating is my subscores. For the math section, I got a 31 in the 1st and a 33 on the second. However, I got a 33 on the rea...

Can I report SAT II scores without reporting SAT I scores?

I got a better score on the ACT than the SAT, so I was planning on just sending my ACT scores to colleges. I'm applying to schools that ask you to send all scores from either the SAT I/SAT II, the ACT, or both tests. My problem is that I did very well on my SAT subject tests, so I'd like colleges to...

Send all SATs or all ACTs to Yale?

I have a 2400 on the SAT and a 35 on the ACT. I know I have nothing to worry about with both of these scores, but my issue is with SAT subject tests. I kind of went overboard and took too many subject tests, and two out of my five scores are in the 600s. I'm worried these scores will hurt me in the ...
