I recently took the ACT, and I got a 34 composite score but only a 6 on the essay. Should I be worried about my low essay score? Would it be smart to retake the test?

You don't need to retake the ACT. Your composite score is high enough that the low essay score won't make much of a difference to colleges. The Writing section of the ACT is not considered as strongly as the other sections.
