You should avoid sending additional letters of recommendation to colleges. Going beyond the necessary number of recommendation letters can make you seem a little crazy and overzealous (and admissions officers already have enough materials to sort through!). Devote more time to polishing your essay and other aspects of your application rather than seeking out additional recommendations.
