Where can I find good practice prompts for the ACT Writing section? I'm worried about it because I heard that people are getting lower scores on the latest version. :/

The ACT website has a sample prompt along with acceptable examples of essay responses and details about the grading criteria. You can also use this additional sample prompt, which comes directly from the latest full ACT practice test (2015-2016 version).

This blog article includes an additional four prompts constructed based on our knowledge of the content criteria for the Writing section. If you get through those, this other article has ten additional prompts created in a similar fashion.

Remember to always refer back to the rubric for the Writing section in evaluating your answers!
