Are there schools that require ACT scores?
I feel really comfortable with the SAT, and I would rather just focus on that one test, but I don’t want to be limited when I’m applying to schools next year. I've heard that there are some schools that specifically require ACT scores (instead of either/or). Is this true?

Do colleges recalculate high school students' gpa according to the rigor? I know that they like AP and honors courses, but I'm not sure if or how they recalculate gpa when they are looking at our transcripts for admission.

Are foreign language requirements mandatory for acceptance?
I’ve noticed that some schools list 2 years of a foreign language as part of their admission requirements. Does this mean that I won’t be accepted if I haven’t taken 2 full years of a foreign language at my school? Could proof of language proficiency be enough?
