Can I register for the SAT as homeschooled, even though I'm not?

I'm planning on taking the SAT, but I'm not in high school yet. My mom says that I can just mark that I'm home schooled since I study vocabulary at home. Is that okay, or will I get in trouble?

I'm currently a sophomore and I will be taking the PSAT and SAT next year. To save time, do you recommend that I use PrepScholar to study for both tests, or should I study using separate prep programs? I want to get high scores on both tests.

My daughter scored a 1060 on her practice SAT. Since this scoring system is new to me, can you provide some reference for how this compares to the old SAT, and if it's an okay score? She previously scored a 1430 (on the old SAT).
