PrepScholar is an online education and test prep company dedicated to growing education at scale through technology. We've been a leader in online test prep since our foundation in 2013, and our blog, online program, and tutoring services have helped thousands of students ace the SAT and ACT. We're also rapidly growing, with new products now available to help students preparing for GMAT, GRE, and TOEFL tests as well as general academic support and acceleration.

Your Role

As a Sales and Account Manager with PrepScholar, you'll be connected from day 1 with qualified leads from our best marketing channels. These are students and parents who have reached out to us requesting information on our programs. You'll play a consultative sales role, not only helping students and parents learn how PrepScholar fits their goals, but also helping them understand test prep and college applications and plan for the future.

Your Responsibilities

  • Field calls to our inbound sales phone line during high-volume hours and talk with qualified potential customers to provide advice and make sales.

  • Reach out to leads gathered from our marketing channels to explain our products and help them buy.

  • Work with existing customers to encourage upsells and cross-sells.

  • Track leads, customer interactions, and sales, and communicate with other members of our sales and support teams to ensure customer care.

  • Work with directors and senior team members to design new sales structures and grow our sales pipeline.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a 4-year institution.

  • Proficiency in computer usage and common online systems (training in our specific systems will also be provided).

  • A passion for both customer care and closing sales.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of test prep, college applications, and/or education overall.

  • Experience in direct customer sales, particularly in education- or childcare-related markets.

  • A degree from an Ivy League school or other top institution.

  • Scores in the 90th percentile or higher on major standardized tests (SAT, ACT, GRE, or GMAT)

About this Position

  • Hours and location are negotiable, with opportunities for full- and part-time positions, as well and onsite, remote, and mixed working locations.

  • You'll receive a base salary plus commission at highly competitive rates.
