Matthew C.

Matthew is an atmospheric scientist who has worked for The Washington Post as a meteorologist since he was 18. A graduate of Harvard University, he constructed his own atmospheric sciences program from scratch and cross-enrolled at MIT. He has worked in various capacities in education and educational consulting for eight years, and has delivered lectures and motivational speeches in person to more than 25,000 international students; his work has reached 1.1 million people online. When not teaching, forecasting, or working with students, Matthew can usually be found driving into softball-sized hail in pursuit of tornadoes.
