Dr. Daniel Plymire is a scientist and engineer and has earned degrees in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology and Computer Science from Johns Hopkins, Business and Finance from Indiana University, and a PhD in Molecular Biophysics from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He has extensive experience working with the Admissions Office at JHU where he interviewed students for undergraduate admissions for 5 years. His professional interests include STEM education and scientific research utilizing high-performance computing. He aims to use his wealth of educational experience to help his students gain acceptance to colleges where they are a great fit academically and where they will also excel outside of traditional academic domains. Recently, Dan’s students have been admitted to Yale, Brown, Carnegie Mellon, Northwestern, NYU, and more.
