Claire G. is a veteran admissions consultant with over 7 years at PrepScholar, and additional experience providing private essay support before that. Her students have earned acceptances to nearly every top school in the country—Columbia, Stanford, Harvard, Yale, and beyond.

Claire holds a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University in Film and Creative Writing. A professional screenwriter and TV writer represented by Gersh and a member of the WGA, she has sold projects to Warner Bros., IFC, and ABC. Claire brings a sharp editorial eye and deep storytelling instinct to every essay, helping students uncover narratives that reflect who they truly are—and where they want to go.

Known for her warmth, creativity, and collaborative spirit, Claire helps students feel comfortable and confident throughout the process. She also partners closely with parents to keep everyone aligned and supported—bringing empathy and good humor as both a consultant and a mom.

Outside of work, Claire loves hiking, theme parks, and re-reading the classics (Wuthering Heights is a current favorite). She’s also a dog person, a foodie, and an unapologetic fan of all things silly.
